The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has warned party leaders and stakeholders that those who fail to deliver their polling units, wards or constituencies in the 2027 elections will not be considered for federal government appointments.

The state APC chairman, Chijioke Chukwu, issued the warning on Sunday at the party secretariat in Umuahia during a post-primary election reconciliation meeting.

Chukwu said the party would closely monitor the performance of its members during the 2027 general elections as part of efforts to assess their commitment and loyalty to the party.

According to him, the results recorded in the polling units, wards and constituencies of APC leaders and other stakeholders would be documented and published immediately after the elections.

He said the results would subsequently be made available to the national leadership of the party to assess the performance of its members.

The APC chairman urged party members to remain united and focused as the party prepares for the 2027 elections, stressing the need for a coordinated strategy to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates in Abia State.

Chukwu also warned the party’s House of Assembly candidates and other stakeholders against compromising the interests of the APC for those of rival political parties.

He urged members to work together and remain committed to the party’s objectives ahead of the elections.
