Abia Deputy Governor Emetu Celebrates Chief Orieji Okwara Emele on Birthday, Commends Contributions to Educational Development

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, has congratulated Chief Mrs. Orieji Okwara Emele, Managing Director of Blue Giraffe Development Company, on her birthday, commending her contributions to educational development and infrastructure delivery in the state.

In his goodwill message, Emetu described Emele as a distinguished Abia indigene whose professional achievements, leadership and commitment to service demonstrate the role local entrepreneurs can play in advancing the state's development.

The deputy governor particularly acknowledged Blue Giraffe Development Company's involvement in constructing smart schools across Abia, describing the initiative as consistent with the educational transformation agenda of Governor Alex Chioma Otti's administration.

He noted that modern educational facilities are essential to creating conducive learning environments and equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

According to Emetu, investments in educational infrastructure also provide a strong foundation for the state's future development by improving learning opportunities for younger generations.

He added that Emele's involvement in the sector demonstrates the capacity of Abia indigenes to contribute meaningfully to the government's development priorities. He expressed hope that her continued dedication would encourage greater private-sector participation in delivering sustainable projects that improve people's lives.

As she celebrates another year, the deputy governor wished Emele good health, renewed strength, greater achievements and many more fulfilling years. He also prayed for continued divine wisdom, grace and opportunities for her to contribute further to Abia State and humanity.

Emetu reaffirmed the Otti-led administration's commitment to building productive partnerships with credible private-sector organisations and individuals whose work supports sustainable development, quality education and improved living standards for residents.
