The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, has congratulated the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, on the occasion of his birthday.

In his goodwill message, Emetu described Emeruwa as a stabilising figure in the legislature whose leadership has promoted unity, strengthened democratic values and provided direction for the activities of the House in the interest of Ndi Abia.

The deputy governor noted that the office of the Speaker requires wisdom, balance and courage, adding that Emeruwa had continued to demonstrate these qualities through consensus-building and his contributions to legislative governance in the state.

He expressed confidence that the Speaker would sustain his leadership efforts in strengthening democratic institutions and supporting Abia State's development agenda.

Emetu also offered prayers for Emeruwa, wishing him long life, sound health, renewed wisdom and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
