A prominent Ghanaian traditional priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has claimed that he is using spiritual means to target England captain Harry Kane ahead of the Black Stars’ upcoming FIFA World Cup clash with England.

The statement, which was shared by football update platform TouchlineX on X, has generated widespread reactions from football fans online.

In the viral post, Bonsam said he was working to limit Kane’s impact in the match, while insisting that his intention was not to cause serious harm to the England striker.

“I am working on Harry Kane. I have shown what I am capable of before, so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana,” he said.
