The Labour Party (LP) has congratulated Abia State Governor Alex Otti on marking three years in office, describing him as the party’s most successful product from the 2023 general elections.

In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Asogwa, said Otti’s administration had consistently demonstrated the Labour Party’s commitment to delivering quality governance.

According to Asogwa, the governor’s achievements over the past three years have earned him widespread recognition from various rating organisations across the country, with many regarding him as one of Nigeria’s top-performing governors.

He noted that the party takes pride in Otti’s accomplishments, stressing that his leadership reflects the values and vision of the Labour Party.

The statement added that as preparations for the 2027 general elections gradually begin, the party is optimistic that residents of Abia will reward Otti’s performance at the polls, citing his leadership style, reform-driven agenda, and significant progress across key sectors of the state’s economy.

The Labour Party also commended the governor for remaining focused on governance despite challenges, distractions, and opposition from certain individuals and groups within the state.

The party said Otti’s determination and commitment to serving the people of Abia have remained unwavering throughout his tenure.

Congratulating him on the milestone, the Labour Party wished the governor continued success as he advances his administration’s development agenda for the state and its people.
