Otti Celebrates Ngige, Obiano at 74, 71, Hails Their Service to Anambra, Nigeria

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has congratulated former Anambra State governors, Chris Ngige and Willie Obiano, on their 74th and 71st birthdays respectively, praising their contributions to public service and governance.
In separate goodwill messages issued on Saturday by his media aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Otti described both former governors as distinguished leaders whose years of service to Anambra State and Nigeria deserved recognition.
The governor also wished them continued good health and long life, while urging them to remain committed to nation-building and service to humanity.
Otti celebrates Ngige at 74
Congratulating Ngige on his 74th birthday, Otti described the former Anambra governor, senator and minister as an illustrious Nigerian and statesman whose contributions to the development of the country deserved celebration.
Otti said he was particularly pleased that Ngige had attained the milestone in good health.
“I feel elated to celebrate my brother and friend, Senator Ngige (Onwa), as he marks his 74th birthday anniversary. I am even more elated that he is celebrating in sound health,” Otti said.
The Abia governor commended Ngige for his contributions to the development of Anambra State and Nigeria through his service as governor, senator and minister.
“Senator Ngige is an illustrious Nigerian and statesman who has distinguished himself and contributed immensely to the development of Anambra in particular, and Nigeria in general, through his service as governor, senator, and minister; hence, my conviction that he is deserving of celebration at 74,” he added.
Otti urged Ngige to continue contributing to nation-building, stressing that his experience and knowledge remained valuable to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy and improving the economic wellbeing of citizens.
Obiano marks 71st birthday
Otti also congratulated former Anambra Governor Willie Obiano on his 71st birthday, expressing gratitude to God for preserving his life and health.
The governor commended Obiano’s contributions to public service, both as a former bank executive and as governor of Anambra State.
He expressed confidence that Obiano would continue to contribute to the service of his people and humanity.
“I wish to gladly celebrate my brother and friend, the former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano (Akpọkuọ Dike), on the occasion of his 71st birthday,” Otti said.
“It is gratifying that Chief Obiano is alive and in good health to mark this beautiful addition. This occasion gives us cause to express gratitude to God for His mercies and for the gift of life and good health to Chief Obiano.
“I have no doubt that the former Anambra governor will continue to dedicate himself to the service of his people and humanity,” he stated.
