Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return to action with a goal as Al Nassr defeated Al Riyadh 4-0 on Friday.

The Portugal captain came off the bench and completed the scoring in the 83rd minute after receiving a brilliant assist from Yahya.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the goal took Ronaldo’s career tally to 977 goals.

Ronaldo had missed out on the starting lineup in Al Nassr’s previous match and watched from the stands as his side defeated Al Fateh on Saturday.

Al Nassr dominate

Al Nassr took the lead in the 18th minute when Al Amri found the net to give the visitors an early advantage.

Angelo doubled the lead shortly after the restart, scoring in the 46th minute to put Al Nassr firmly in control.

Joao Felix extended the advantage in the 58th minute, making it 3-0 before Ronaldo completed the rout 25 minutes later.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s goal capped his return to action and helped Al Nassr secure another emphatic victory.

Ronaldo’s return will provide another boost for Al Nassr as the club continues its pursuit of success in Saudi football.
