Gabriel Martinelli has become the second Arsenal player to agree a move away from the Premier League champions on Sunday.
The Gunners have reached a verbal agreement with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for the transfer of Martinelli in a deal worth more than €65 million, including add-ons.
The 25-year-old has reportedly been given permission to travel to complete his medical and finalise a long-term contract with the Saudi club.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced the development on X, writing that an agreement had been reached between the parties and that Martinelli had been authorised to travel within the next 24 hours.
“Gabriel Martinelli to Al Hilal, here we go! Verbal agreement done for fee over €65m add-ons included. Martinelli will sign a long-term deal as he just had authorization to travel in 24h,” Romano wrote.
Martinelli is expected to join fellow Brazilian Gabriel Jesus in departing Arsenal.
Jesus is reportedly set to join Barcelona after the two clubs agreed on a transfer fee of around €10 million.
